![]() ![]() Of course, this is a rumor based on a patent and it doesn't mean the lens will ever be a reality. A 35mm f/2.0 is also kind of odd, especially considering we have four excellent choices at 42,5mm and 45mm. I gave it to my son for his GX7 and I haven't asked if he has used much. Probably best for indoor portraits, but I don't do a lot of portraits so it was a great buy that was hardly ever used. It is an excellent lens but an odd focal length that sits right on the normal/telephoto line. Sigma 18-35 F1.8 on M43 Using this lens on a APSC-sensor gives equivalent focal length of roughly 28-55, and an aperture of about F2.8. We've dug into a camera with some of the broadest and deepest video feature sets ever. It brings a new, 25MP sensor and 10-bit 4K capture at up to 120p. I have a problem with my micro 4/3 lens in low-light since its maximum aperture is 4. The Panasonic GH6 is the latest in the company's line of video-focused Micro Four Thirds cameras. Plus you’ve likely already invested in the speed booster. And I already have Canon 5D mark iii with 24-105mm (4) and 16-35 (2.8) EF Lenses. Tough call but the 18-35 is more versatile and gives you similar DOF at that 50mm equivalent focal length. It needs to be a wide-angle, in order to capture as much of the sky as possible, and so youre looking at 14-20mm on a full-frame camera, 1-14mm on APS-C, or 7-10mm on Micro Four Thirds. I bought the Sigma 60mm f/2.8 DN and 30mm f/2.8 DN when they were on sale. Weve dealt with the other two necessities in our guides to the best tripods and the best cameras for astrophotography here, were focusing on the lens. The 30mm f2.8 is hard to beat at the current selling price. Well, it would need to be something really special so that it will not compete with their 30mm f2.8. Well at least this shows signs that Sigma might be releasing more ART lenses for the m43 system in the future! Sigma developing more lenses dedicated for m43 is a great sign for the m43 scene I think. ![]() Hopefully this hasn't been posted yet here, just saw this over at 43rumors: ![]()
